Park had ended, contrary evidence showed up to keep visiting birders

Two good birds of last week put in a re-appearance this week.
The LITTLE EGRET was refound
Ross Lamb and I enjoyed traversing Prospect Rd., Wylie Rd. and Shrike Rd.
in the Carden Alvar between 9am and 3pm today.
Non-birds included 8+ Butterfly species, including 1 Monarch.
Highlight birds would be a loud kidicking Virginia Rail, a
road-puddle-bathing Upland Sandpiper, a top-of-pole Wilso
I have received a report, and photo, of a Chukar, seen in the vicinity
of Stouffer Street and 10th line, in Stouffville north-east of Markham.
It was seen at 6:10pm on June 8th. Undoubtedly an escape, but of
interest as there have been a couple of other reports in the past two
