Female King Eider at Bluffers Park in east Toronto off most southwesterly
point. Take Brimley Road south to where it ends at Lake Ontario and park in

Bird appeared at 1119 from the southeast of the intersection of Isabella
and Jeanie. The bird lingered briefly and then moved north where it was
frequenting the old rail bed for five to ten minutes before settling in
some low-tangle on the west side of the rail bed.

Following the post by Josh Vandermeulen, I came to Fruitland Road at the lake
to look for both Eiders that were reported. I found the female west of the
lookout, close to shore with a few Merganser. The young Male took some work but
I did find him straight out amongst all the Long-tailed.
Hey,
This morning I had 55 Bohemians [Waxwings..not people ;] feeding on Hackberries
within the Thames River Valley, just west of Woodstock. These are the 1st that
I know of this fall reported for the SW, so worth keeping an eye out.
Later in the day, at Pittock Lake, I had 43 Sandhill Cranes

Dan Salisbury & I chased this rarity this AM. There must have been some 25
birders /photographers at the Bluebird spot. The bird seems be feeding well.

I spent the latter part of the afternoon searching for and watching the
Bullocks Oriole feeding in various apple trees. The bird was very skittish and
would disappear for short periods of time before suddenly popping up either in
a apple tree or feeding low in the tangles and vege
