I have not seen a posting so I will point out that the bird was only seen by
the original observer who obtained photos, but birders arriving on site within
a Hal hour of the report were unable to relocate it even with the original
observer present.

The first significant numbers of insectivorous birds have arrived at
Presqu'ile Provincial Park, but are likely going hungry these last few
days, with sub-zero temperatures and snow both having occurred.
Pairs of WOOD DUCKS are showing up in wet areas of the woods. A GADWALL
was off the beach

Fellow Birders
I don't recall a post about this nesting site before. Yesterday, Anne Crowley
found an osprey at the Glen Eden ski hill in Kelso Conservation Area. We both
watched it building a nest on top of a floodlight about half way up the ski
hill called "challenger" by the west lodge.
