Just before noon today, there was a Horned Grebe in the eastern cell at the
Alfred Lagoons. The bird was only about 50 yds from the observation tower,
offering great views.

Good afternoon,
Birding continues to be slow but steady at Rondeau today. The east side of
South Point Trail has been fairly productive, with Red-headed Woodpecker
and close low views of a number of warblers. I have heard second-hand
reports of a Yellow-breasted Chat here today, I would be very
The long staying Harlequin Duck is still hanging out at the island just
below the dam at Springbank Park in London. It sometimes feeds between the
island and the parking lot, so unobstructed views of about 20 meters away
are quite possible.

Hello birders:
So...it snowed this morning and it's quite conceivable that many observers will
see in excess of 20 warbler species today -- not too many times you can say
that at Point Pelee! So far, 27 warbler species have been recorded today.
Today's bird report is almost a carbon copy of

Hello Whimbrel fans.
I've got a lot of new stuff in my computer but my brain is the same old one so
please forgive early blunders.
So here we go again, its Whimbrel migration season and we will be there to see
it at Whimbrel Point in Col. Sam Smith Park. We urge you all to join us any
time
Good morning,
The morning started off dismal (and snowy!) but things have improved
somewhat. There are not huge numbers of birds in the park, but a number of
interesting things have been seen.
Yellow-throated Warbler has been seen again at the Anne McArthur bench on
South Point Trail.

Hello!
After some tedious work we have refound the bird just north of the previously
reported area near the boardwalk in Tildens. Sitting up in trees. Look for the
crowd.
Good birding,
Jay Peterson
