This morning I count at least 350 Red-necked Grebes of Rattray Marsh ... not that usual since this a know late summer/fall staging area. The mudflats are rapidly widening since the water level of Lake Ontario has dropped considerably in the last few weeks but with only 3 species of shorebird: 9
