Hey,
Not a species I would normally post about, but if anyone wants to see /
photograph large numbers of Tundra Swans there are est. 1500 birds close to the
edge of Prouse Road, about 1 km west of Culloden Road, as well as several
hundred birds in dry cornfields further west near Pigram Road.
Hello fellow birders:
Just a short about today's TOC outing. It was a beautiful clear sunny day with
fairly strong north winds to remind us winter hasn't quite left us yet.
Kai Millyard, myself and 25 other birders enjoyed a decent outing tallying 48
species on the day. We made stops at Humber

The swans are starting to arrive at the Aylmer WMA next to the police
college in Elgin County. As of this afternoon there were about 300 swans
and with them:
- Greater White-fronted Goose
- Snow Goose
- American Wigeon
- Northern Pintail
And many others.
