This afternoon Daniel Riley and I counted 51 Red-throated Loons off of the end
of the Port Weller east pier, in St. Catharines, Niagara Region. Due to the
calm weather the viewing conditions were quite good, making it much easier to

At noon today there was a Ross's Goose at the Exeter Lagoons with upwards of
700 Tundra Swans. Ross's was on north berm of western most cell.Keep in mind
the lagoons are only accessible weekends while construction continues.The
lagoons are accessible off Airport Line 600 meters south of Hwy
The recurring bird is in the lagoon as of 1:30 best viewed from the road north
side of the lagoon or the platform at Trisan Centre
Also at least 4 Cackling Geese and 11 Ring-necked Ducks
The lagoons are on Dillane just off Hwy 27 in Schomberg
