I was able to get a couple of photos before it left and have determined that it
was a Franklin's Gull. I haven't relocated it yet.

Earlier today I found what is likely to be an Arctic Tern on the west pier
at Bronte Harbour in Oakville. You can see the photos I took of it in my

Most of its features look quite good for Arctic Tern; however, in some of

I just found a Laughing Gull on the east pier. The birds all flushed and the
Laughing Gull hasn't returned with the rest of the birds. I will post again if
I relocate it.
