Rondeau Festival of Flight May 7th Morning Report
A blur of activity this morning with a strong wave of migrants headed north all
across the park. Several hundred warblers have been seen streaming across the
high up in the cottonwoods, and tulip trees being primarily made up of
Yellow-rumped, N
Hi, I just had what appeared to be an immature male summer tanager in Osgoode
Park in downtown Toronto. It was feeding on the grass and in low branches along
the Queen St edge of the park. Pics obtained.

Cold, damp and breezy this morning with some rain, but wonderful birding. About
28 species of warblers reported including 2 KENTUCKY, a KIRTLAND'S, PRAIRIE,
several PROTHONOTARY, and 2 CERULEANS.
Many birds are actively feeding and streaming northward. Observers in the north
end of the Park indi
Huge numbers of birds in the park this afternoon, with Yellow-rumped, Palm,
Northern Parula, and Nashville Warblers leading the group in the hundreds. A
Golden-winged Warbler was found on the north end of Rondeau Rd along with a
Bay-breasted Warbler. An Olive-Sided Flycatcher was found on Bennet

This morning (7 May 2019) a few parties witnessed an amazing northward
movement of passerines (mostly warblers) on the west side of Point Pelee, right
out of the park. Josh and Mike Bauman (JB,MB) were the first to notice this.
