Today for the 1st time ever I saw 2 swans that weren't mute swans, on the
Jedburgh Pond in Ayr and they were either Trumpeter Swans or Tundra. They were
tagged the way I have seen Trumpeter Swans, so that made me think that was what
they were, as I didn't have Sibley's with me. Yellow tags
My brother has an Eastern Phoebe nest every year in his garage and it always
comes early. He heard it toward the end of February and my sister-in-law heard
it again today round 10:30am. Near Glen Morris south of Cambridge.
For, lo, the winter is past...The flowers appear on the earth; the
whimbrels (since
there has been a lot on them on the bird reports). They were heading NW. I
just couldn't pull over and whip out my binoculars:).

60 Sandhill cranes in Bannister lake on 24A north of Paris and Wrigleys Rd
about noon hour today. I thought it was a bit late for them. But it was

Today about 5pm I was at Wrigley's Corners and on Bannister Lake there was
flock of about 100 tundra swans. Also a mature bald eagle was eating something
on the ice. Canada geese and mallards were floating around and 1 pied-billed
grebe. Four hooded merganzers were on the pond across
