Hello Ontbirders,
Today, while checking for Short-eared owls at Seed Rd. Cuddy Drive, Ed, Kay
and I spotted a Snowy Owl on top of a hydro pole about 150 yds. north of
Egremont Dr. (Hwy. 22) on Seed Rd. Too dark to see it well. As we backed up
to look at it better, it flew down and

Ed and I birded the Roman Line today around 5 p.m. We spotted 2 Snowy Owls
between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Both owls were on top of hydro poles on the East side
of the Roman Line. The first one was between Fallon Drive and Breen Drive.

A male Long-tailed Duck was seen this afternoon, about 3:30 p.m, at the
Strathroy Sewage Lagoons. It was swimming with hundreds of Ruddy Ducks in the
pond on the left as you enter the lagoons. Also seen in the pond on the left
were Bonaparte Gulls.

As of Saturday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. the American Wigeon was seen at the
Aylmer Sewage Lagoons with a large group of American Wigeons. There were also
Ring-necked Ducks, Bufflehead, Mallards, Black Duck and Northern Shovellers.

the west side of Colonel Talbot Road at 12:15 p.m.
Directions:
from London drive south on Colonel Talbot Road to Littlewood Drive, the traffic
lights just before the 401. Turn right on Littlewood Drive and drive
