Saw the hatch-year male Townsend's Warbler at 10:45AM in it's usual haunt
in the Bates subdivision at Rondeau today. It was actively feeding in the
cedars on Centre St. near 2nd Ave. It was seen by others earlier on 3rd
Ave. The Blackpoll Warbler was also seen on 3rd Ave.

At noon today at Fifty Point Conservation Area, near Grimsby, previously
reported Purple Sandpiper on the rocks on the west side of the point, near
the wooden observation platform. At last, a Purple Sandpiper for my
Hamilton list.

I went for a bike ride on the Centennial Trail this afternoon. The Centennial
Trail parallels the north side of New St., between Guelph Line and Burloak Dr.
Heading back south on my way home about 4:45 PM, about halfway between Burloak

There haven't been any postings for a few weeks, but on Sunday, we were in the
area, and decided to see if the female Mountain Bluebird was still there. We'd
seen it a few weeks earlier and got some pictures, but it was very cloudy that
day, so this past Sunday seemed a better photo opportunit
