Pinesiskins at Eagle, Ontario
Hi,
For the first time this winter we had two pinesiskins come in with golfinches
to the feeders.

Eagle is south of West Lorne and 42 km. south west of London
White Winged Crossbills at Eagle, Ontario
Today at 11:30 I observed a flock of about 50 White Winged Crossbills in our
spruce trees. They only stayed for an hour and then headed east.
Eagle is about 6 miles south of West Lorne.

approximately 400 meters south of Talbot Line. There is a silver maple tree
with orange flagging tape on a branch which is quite visible.

Take 401 to Rdodney exit (half way between London and Chatham) and go south
to Talbot Line, turn west on

The Ibis's were back at the field this morning at 7:15. They seem to have
no fear of human and will come fairly close to the road.

There are 4 Glossy Ibis at New Glasgow which is south of Rodney. They are
in a wet grassy spot and they are no more the 200 yards off the road. They
have been confirmed by Marjorie Prieksiatis, Reinhold Prokraka and myself.
I saw them today at 11:50 A.M.

Just a note to let everyone know that we still haven't located the
Pyrrhuloxia since Saturday morning. Hoping it will return with the snow.

I am sorry to say that the Pyrrhuloxia has not been seen since Saturday
morning. The weather is still not the best here and hoping if it snows the
bird will come back to the feeder.
I will be out there looking for her and will post it if she is spotted.

Good Evening,
The weather here in Eagle has been very wet and I commend all those
faithful birders who stood out in this nasty weather. Sorry to say that the
Pyrrhuloxia has not been seen since yesterday morning. With better weather
predicted for tomorrow we are hoping that she will be back
feeds on the ground.
Hopefully with this warm, bright sunny day she will make more appearances
than yesterday.
Also the immature Bald Eagel was seen, Red-Bellied Woodpecker and an
immature White-Crown Sp.
