Hello Ontbirders
The juvenile Parasitic Jaeger was still present this morning at 8:30am at
Ottawa Beach. It was harassing a large group of Cormorants several 100 meters
from shore. There was also 6 Black-bellied Plovers but I could not find the
Red-necked Phalarope.
Good birding,
Richard
The Glossy Ibis was relocated last evening at 7h30 at the same location where
found yesterday.
The bird was observed for 15 minutes, then it flew off heading in an easterly
direction following the river.

The Louisiana Waterthrush was still present this morning, Friday May 5, in
Gatineau Park, on the Waterfall Trail near the MacKenzie-King estate. The bird
sang consistently around the waterfall between 6:15 and 7:00 AM. I was able to
get a pretty good look at it this time.
