Following up on an Ontario Birds Facebook post by Chip Ogglesby of a

Conservation Area.

Visitor Centre. It’s been standing on the corner of the building and flying
out to the trees out front.

A juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron that was posted to a bird ID Facebook
group yesterday, has been refound along River Canard just south of St.
Joseph's church in Amherstburg. The bird was last seen right across the
road from 121 South Riverview Dr. catching prey along the shoreline.
As I was driving through Holiday Beach Conservation Area a few minutes ago, 2
Snowy Egrets flushed from the railing on the boardwalk and flew out into the
marsh. The birds are not currently in view but are likely still in the area.
Scoping/scanning from the tower may help.
Holiday Beach is
The Frigatebird made another brief appearance just north of Pelee Wings at the
outlet of Sturgeon Creek. It's not currently in view but likely still in the
area.

There are two Snowy Egrets at Holiday Beach Conservation Area. One bird is
continuing to feed in the small pond to the south of the Hawk Tower and the
other just joined the large Great Egret roost in the trees to the west of
the tower. Both birds were originally together in the small pond.

We just came across a Worm-eating warbler at the tip, just south of
where the boardwalk ends. It was actively feeding in the brush to the
west of the trail.

The Henslow's Sparrow is being seen now in the same location that
Chris Gaffan had seen it last night. It's on the right side of the
small trail to the left of the weather station.
