This morning I observed two male Barrow's on the Rideau River in a flock of
Common Goldeneye's at Strathcona Park in Ottawa.

Six Gray Jays were observed in Algonquin Park yesterday along Basin Depot
Road, two jays at the Basin Cabin, three jays 1.5 km's south of the Hydro
line and one other at the Buck Lake campsite.
Later in the afternoon on my way out of the park, an adult Bald Eagle was
seen soaring over Eganville
I spotted a Snowy Owl perched on a telephone pole on the north side of
Barnsdale Road between Twin Elm and Moodie this afternoon around 4:40 p.m.
It was completely unexpected as I was checking out the area for a possible
GGO sighting from earlier on this morning along Moodie - no GGO located.

I was lucky to see another (or the same) Great Gray Owl along March Valley
Road this morning (7:30 a.m.) though I expected them to be within the
fenced area of DND. On my last pass along March Valley Road, my attention
turned to several crows harassing a bird further down. When I arrived at
