The Grey Kingbird found along Mersea Road 2 at house 2202 beside Hillman Marsh,
posted earlier today left that area and headed south about 6:15 pm about an
hour or so before the storm hit. Several birders looked for it in the area

Found roosting on the Post Wood Trail not far north of the Sparrow Field. Sorry

An adult Mississippi Kite circled us and headed north while we were on
Chinquapin Trail just after it starts off of Tilden Trail near the boardwalk at
about 3:30.

14, the weather was not ideal. Blustery winds, cold and snow caused
discomfort and poor conditions for walking and driving routes. Only two of

Directions: Follow the path beside the airport fence out to the beach. Turn
left. The bird was close to the buoy on the beach.

Came back this morning for another look and found the Mountain Bluebird in it's
usual place and with the eastern bluebird. They are coming fairly regularly to
the berries on the small cedars along the hedgerow on the east side of Kerry
Road not too far north of the intersection with Bilton Line.
As the subject line says I went by this morning and did not see the Phoebe
along the road. However it is a huge field with miles of fencing. Also I could
not see behind the buildings. Just started raining here. I will repost if I see
it again.

Hey there. Am birding on Amherst Island and came upon a Say's Phoebe. Nice
alternative/breeding plumage. I first saw it about 9 am. along Second
Concession on the south side of the road. It was on the north/south fence line
to the west of the house numbered 4725.
It disappeared to the east beh
At about 10am had an adult Laughing Gull and the so-called Yellow-legged
Gull(identity still under review) right at the Tip of Point Pelee. Apparently
the gulls were chased out after we were there but many people were looking for
them on both beaches and they may still be around or return to th
Three Long-tailed Jaegers have just flown by a group of us at Hutch's
Restaurant on Van Wagner's Beach. They were pretty far out harassing gulls but
one had the characteristic long tail plumes and the overall colour patterns as
seen in Brandon's great pictures. The other two would be considered

Hey there
This morning about eleven am, Bill and Colleen Lindley found a
Chuck-will's-widow at Fanshawe Conservation Area. It was sighted again after
six pm when he was able to contact others and take them out to look for it.
It was in a pine plantation near the Campgrounds.
Has it been there
wear side of the pond by
the road and when it heard her moves out quickly but luckily didn't fly.
At one point it had 5 baby mallards following it around the pond. So funny.
Heard grasshopper sparrow in field across from pond.

The rain held off and it was actually sunny for some of the time for
the Rob and Gavin annual Skunk's Misery trip.
Nine people joined Rob and substitute leader Pete on a breezy cool
journey touching into some of the best areas for much sought after
species in South-western Ontario.
