North Bay Christmas Bird Count, December 14, 2019 - Preliminary Results
Abundant or Increased Counts: Red Breasted Nuthatches,Blue Jays, American
Crows and European Starlings each tripled their last year totals; American
Tree Sparrows were well counted and American Goldfinch numerous.
North Bay Christmas Bird Count, December15, 2018 - Preliminary Results
Most Abundant Birds Observed: Black Capped Chickadees were abundant;
woodpeckers and nuthatches frequent; many Mallards; and grosbeaks were well
counted, with 41 Pine and 50 Evening Grosbeaks.
Specialty Birds
ate Mall, then left onto
Wallace.

onto on Hwy. 539, then right on Rutland
Ave. Sparrow was seen on the edge of the road at house on the corner where
Rutland, Warren Ave. and Laurier Lane meet. House is on the east side of
Laurier Lane. (Near Warren Lagoon.)

The Brambling continues to be seen this afternoon. Makes frequent appearances
on lawn, at the feeders and in the trees around the property and across the
street at Sweetman's Gardens. Owner is fine with your viewing the bird, but
please do not block the driveway and do not go on lawn. Can be
, on the left side at the end
of McIntyre Street West, just after crossing Cormack Street.

First opportunity I have had to notify: a Great Gray Owl offered great views
this morning at approximately 9:30 am, sitting on a low branch of a tree at
the end of a driveway, second house from the end of Mantha Road on right side.
Road is not long and comes to a dead end. Owner of the
