We have had a few requests for updates. As of this afternoon there was one
chick and three dirty eggs at the nest near the Compass restaurant at Bronte
Harbour. This indicates no losses since my last visit on Sunday. The nest on a
tire in Bronte Creek opposite OCs restaurant at Bronte Marine
Hi Birders:
There are now two hatchling Red-Necked Grebes on the nest near the picnic dock
at Bronte Harbour. 4 eggs are still in the nest.
The Pied-Billed Grebe was also present in the Harbour among the boats between
the Compass restaurant and the large pier.

This morning we found appears to be a hybrid Redhead with Ring-necked duck. The
bird is male.
We also saw a Snowy Owl on B dock.
Directions: Ext the QEW at Bronte Rd and go to the lake. The birds are in the
Outer Harbour Marina.

It was third time lucky for me seeing the Lincoln’s Sparrow at College Park
today at lunch time. The bird was with House Sparrows and White Throated
Sparrows feeding on seed set out in bushes north of the rink by a sign saying
“Barbara Ann Scott Rink”. I had previously tried briefly after work
