Sorry should've specified this is in Toronto. North York to be specific closest intersection is Sheppard Ave and Keele St.
Bird is in William Baker section of park. If on Sheppard and facing west it is just to the right of John Drury traffic lights. It is mere meters from the bus stop feeding in the grass and associating with Chipping Sparrows, Goldfinches and a lone Junco. Sent from my BlueBerry Classic
Yesterday, July 6, while on the Sunderland Butterfly Count, I heard a singing
Clay-coloured Sparrow about 4 km SSW of Udora. I'm not sure how common these
birds are in this area but it was the first time I have heard one at this
location. There are also Grasshopper Sparrows on the walk in.

with a field and song sparrow.

and seen in Sarnia at Suncor Nature Way. was seen in same location last year .

This afternoon I heard 2 (and saw 1 of them) clay-coloured sparrows in Mt.
Pleasant Cemetery. Both birds doing a three-part buzz. This was in Plot O,
western half of the cemetery right next to the mausoleum.
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery is both east and west off Mt. Pleasant Rd. just north
of Moore Ave

Greetings:
Yesterday at 11 am an adult Clay coloured sparrow showed up at my feeder along
with an adult Red headed woodpecker.
Directions: Take Hwy 19 south of Hwy 3 from Tillsonburg toward Port Burwell.
At Regional Road 45 turn left, heading east approx. 5 km to Regional R
Yesterday, Soiled Reputation farm was visited by a Clay-coloured Sparrow. The
male was singing and keeping consort with resident Chipping Sparrows. This is
the first record for the farm, and brings the bird list for our organic farm to

I found a Clay-coloured Sparrow close to the intersection of Edgemere Road and
Kraft Road in Fort Erie around 6:30 pm on Sunday May 10 (Happy Mother's Day :-))
Take the QEW to Fort Erie. Take exit 2 for Thompson Rd/Bertie St toward County

It was reported that a pair of clay-coloured sparrows where spotted in a
field on Black's Rd. near Rodney. Brad and I went there today and they were
the first birds we heard. They been there since early June and seem to be
nesting. They are in the scrub bush field on the east side of Black's
I saw and heard a clay-coloured sparrow today around noon in the little
parkette on the south side of Sandalwood Pkwy., just west of Heart Lake Rd.
(410) in Brampton. It sat out in the open on a bush beside the path, quite
near the parking lot, for several minutes.

This evening I had a Clay-coloured Sparrow at Lakeside Park, Mississauga.
Look carefully on the newly cut grass just west of the parking lot, near
Lakeshore and the creek; it's on the lawn with numerous White-throats and Palm
Warblers.
There are plenty of warblers at this site as well (Parula,
