Today at Presqu'ile P.P. we observed 2 Snowy Owls off Owen Point, 1 on Gull
Island and the second on High Bluff Island. It was interesting that the first
one was sitting very close to, two Ring-billed Gulls on a log-maybe the Snowy
already had breakfast?? On Owen Point there was a N

If you haven't had an opportunity to do any waterfowl birding at Presqu'ile
this spring the conditions are still excellent. Over the weekend we observed 20
species including the 2 male Eurasian Wigeons. There were observed both
Mar.26/27 along Bayshore Drive just north of Lilac Lan

The waterfowl viewing at Presqu'ile continues to be excellent. Today we
observed 20 species of waterfowl including a male Eurasian Wigeon which was
seen at 1:15pm from Bayshore Drive just north of house #18. There were 3 winter

The birding at Presqu'ile Provincial Park was excellent today. There was a good
movement of land birds including 1000+ Yellow-rumped Warbler, 200+
White-throated Sparrow, 50+ White-crowned Sparrow, and 150+ American Pipit.
Other land birds of noted included 2 Gray-cheeked Thrush, 1
This morning (Saturday) there was a male Northern Harrier at the entrance to
Presqu'ile Provincial Park in Brighton. Directions to the park are signed
from the 401 Highway.

I spent yesterday at Presqu'ile with my wife and Stephen Derraugh, Anna Marie
Iraci, and their son Fraser. As previous reports have stated, there were large

The shorebird watching was excellent this morning along Beach 1-3 and Owen
Point. The highlight was a breeding plumaged Purple Sandpiper at Owen Point
first spotted by Bill Gilmour. It was on the gravel point with Dunlin between
9:15 a.m to 9:50 a.m. Other species noted included 8000

Yesterday, November 16th, birded Presqu'ile P.P. for the day. Overall, cold and
windy but we did managed to see 1 Purple Sandpiper in a flock of 18 Dunlin and
7 Sanderling on Gull Island. The bird was very tame. There was a juvenile Snowy
Owl present on Sebastopol Island. Late linger

Spent the weekend birding Presqu'ile P.P.. Overall it was a interesting
weekend. On September 27th had a good movement of land birds during the
afternoon, 17 species of warblers were observed around the lighthouse area
including Wilson's, Chestnut-sided, Bay-breasted, Northern Parul

Today, September 2nd, I birded Presqu'ile Provincial Park. Overall, land
bird migration was slow, but the shorebird activity at Owen Point and Gull
Island was very good. Highlights were 3 Whimbrel, 1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper,
and 7 Baird's Sandpiper.

Today, March 25th, spent the morning birding Presqu'ile Provincial Park.
Viewing conditions were excellent. Six Red-throated Loons, in winter plumage
were observed in Popham Bay off Owen Point Beach Trail and Beach #1.
There was a good variety of waterfowl in both Presqu'ile an
