Lakeshore Rd.

Dear Fellow Birders,
A quick visit to Long Point yesterday yielded 160 Sandhill Cranes
flying out from their roost where Big Creek empties out into the Inner
Bay. The cranes then scattered to the surrounding fields where getting
an accurate count is much more difficult but are much easier to
We saw 100+ Sandhill Cranes at the west?shore of Port Rowan Bay. Very little
open water still finds over 700 Tundra Swans in the bay just left of the
harbour, with most resting on the ice.?A stop at Big Creek bridge produced
Redheads, Buffleheads, Ruddys and Hooded Mergansers.
