The White-eyed Vireo found by Roberta Kay on 30 Oct, and enjoyed by many
observers on a daily basis since then, continues today in Ottawa. The bird
was seen this morning actively foraging in its favoured area a few metres
north of the parking area where the trail forks west and (north)easterly.
In addition to Adam Timpf's post I just wanted to give everyone a heads up
that the Long Point area has been very bird the last few days and today is
no exception.
While searching for the Townsend's Solitare I spotted a White-eyed Vireo

south of a huge broken cherry tree.

Hi,
A White-eyed Vireo discovered yesterday at Paletta Park in Burlington, is still
being seen as of moments ago. The bird seems to stay in the cedars which are on
the west side of the creek, and run along the east side of Paletta Mansion. It
can be seen with other dickie birds. This bird may b

At 1PM the vireo was feeding high in the almost bare trees, and was quiet. It
did come briefly down to the trail edge. The good news is that there are very
few birds, so if you see movement in the trees, you have likely found the
vireo. Also in the area is a Blue-headed Vireo, some nest-buildi
This afternoon at approximately 2:05 I found a White-eyed vireo on the east
side of the Darlington Nuclear Trail. The bird stayed low (10-15ft) for a full
3-4 minutes while it fed on midges, which allowed me to enjoy some crippling
looks. I could clearly see its yellow spectacles and flanks and

Hi there: This morning, while leading a Riverwood Conservancy Bird Hike, I
found this "Vireo sp" that I tried hard to make into a Cassin's or a Bell's

exceptional but not out of the ordinary at this time of the
year)...Descr

The White-eyed Vireo is still present on Ward's Island at 8:45 this
morning. It was found again along the 2nd hole fairway of the frisbee
golf course.
I initially heard a scolding call then a flash of yellow as a bird flew
from north of the road into a thicket area.
After unsuccessfully attempting to relocate a Black-and-white Warbler
that was found on yesterday's CBC in Toronto, I was able to easily
relocate the White-eyed Vireo we found yesterday on Toronto Island.
The Vireo is a bright 1st winter bird. It was quiet but actively
feeding and very visible.
We saw a white-eyed vireo low shrubs on north side of road just east of island
fire station 30 minutes ago on toronto cbc. Close views
