Try to find a llama at least 2 yrs old and get a gelding. make sure you have just one. two or more and they won't protect the flock they will take care of each other. My sheep follow him around (even the ram) and stay with him. He even lets the lambs sleep on top of his back when they are resting

I read your story with some amusement and saddness. In some ways it is a sign of how business is done nowadays (almighty dollar)no responsibility from the guy at the processing plant(blame it on you or the fact it is hunting season) makes you wonder how places stay in business. - Original
