I was thinking that they probably used 2-4-D rather than roundup. It's a very common herbicide, kills broadleaf plants but leaves grasses alone. I think some people use Roundup generically, in the same way people used to say Xerox instead of photocopy. I wouldn't assume that 2-4-D is any
