Hey Guys.
I finally got sound to work - and it was a wrong cable.
I pulled apart my case - and re-checked all the cabling, and I had
plugged in the wrong jack (HD audio instead of AC'97).
The plus side is I have learned a lot about linux and sound.
Thanks to all the helpful suggestions from eve

I don't think that solves this issue if you ever rebuild
xkeyboard-config. Also, the default in xkeyboard-config is to put

I think that contrary to you I know that RECOMMENDED
does not mean ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY
And contrary to you I do think that other people could
be a little clever. (Of course I tried it with CAPS,
Do you really think that I am that silly)

Hi
I have problems when setting up Kerberos V5-1.6 as described in
svn-20070122
Until
kinit root
or
kinit oli004
everything works fine and I get the results BLFS foresees (except perhaps, that
/etc/krb5/krb5.keytab is /etc/krb5.keytab)
But then I get the error message

I have, iceauth: /usr/X11R6/bin/iceauth /usr/bin/X11/iceauth
I have googled for this and I have seen one reference to

Even I google it there always unsolved solutions. That's why, I bring here the
solution which did work for me at least.

This is only a warning. It is safe to ignore, although installing acpid will
remove it (wa
