Thanks Andy, I've just had a look at it and it seems interesting. I think
that it has less functionality than Terminator but it's lighter. I'll have
a play with it when i have more time.

I had the same experience when I first installed BLFS 6.3 on one machine with
an old CRT monitor (Philips -n 105S). I then tried on another machine, with a
flat screen (LCD) with nvidia 7 series. The installation was superb, it is like
a professional distro in appearance and far better

What was the error log from the kernel panic. I have experienced a
number of kernel panic errors and have been able to solve most of them.
I did experience it with LFS 6.4 but managed to resolve it.
