I did compile and install AccountsService-0.6.25. I found
accounts-daemon did not run automatically.
So I started it manually with accounts-daemon command. But it did not
help and produced the same error.

Gparted has two optional dependencies; gnome-doc-utils-0.20.10 and
Rarian-0.8.1, which I did not install. Maybe the book should have a
--disable-doc in the ./configure command. It took me some time to figure out
which switch to use so that the configure script works without the option

I got gnome to work now, finally.
I rebuilt/reinstall account-services, pokit and polkit-gnome.
I think I did not set up automatically start of polkit-gnome correctly.
