Using the latest version of Swig (1.3.27), Perl 5.8.7 and apache 2.0.54
(problem apparently exists with latest apache as well)...
Subversion builds and runs fine using:
./configure --prefix=/usr \
--with-apr=/usr \
--with-apr-util=/usr \
--enable-javahl \
--with-swig
...but running make swig-pl

Doesn't seem to do anything. Doug's suggestion that it is just going
from an old config.cache is also bogus, unfortunately. I think the

I'm trying to install GraphViz for use with Doxygen... I have the JDK
installed in /usr/jdk. Java is confirmed to be working fine, paths are
all correct etc.
Running ./configure --prefix=/usr gives the following:
checking for java... java
checking jni.h usability... no
checking jni.h presence..
It appears portmapper is running as UID 1, which is like, totally not a
valid UID :)
Can't for the life of me figure out why or how to fix it, and I don't want
to add a bin user just for that one program. Wish I didn't need the stupid
thing at all actually, but FAM requires it. How is it even ALLO

Local printing is working fine for me using HP's hplip driver
with the included foomatic scripts and esp ghostscript, but when
I print through samba I always get an extra page with something
Like:
%%PRODUCTNAME: ESP GHOSTSCRIPT%%
at the top (the actual message might be different... I'm at work

I'm fiddling with QT 3.3.4 and KDE-3.4.0 on an (admittedly modified) LFS svn
circa yesterday (nALFS scripted build)...
Everything is peachy up until I get to kdebindings, which craps out with the
following error:
-: make[2]: Entering directory `/tools/build/kdebindings-3.4.0/python'
