Microsoft extends sale of Windows XP
September 29, 2007
San Francisco - Microsoft is to extend the availability of its Windows XP
operating system.
Industry analysts said that the move reflected hesitancy by buyers to adopt
XP's replacement,
Hi all
Does this mean that Microsoft will extend support. I had heard when Vista
became available support for XP would stop in 2008 from Microsoft.

Got a question folks. Back in the time of 98 you could repair I.E.. Is that
option available in XP? On my wife's computer she is having a problem in
getting outlook express to work, if she still had 98 a repair on I.E. would
probably fix the problem, but she is using XP, Jaws 8, and is still
what is i.e. not doing if you can get on the net you might want to upgrade
to i.e. 7 or if you have your window disc i.e. is on the disc remove i.e.
an start all over again.

Which of the 19 choices should we toggle on so we get the typing sounds
back. I don't see anything which might indicate typing sounds. Thank you
for any assistance you can give on this matter.

My typing sounds works well in Jaws 7; however it has never worked in 8

I wonder whether or not this extension will also affect Microsoft's plans to
cease support for xp at a future date. I think someone said that ms would
support xp for five years from last summer. marilyn
