Hello all,
A friend wants to buy a laptop and asked me a question, but I don't know the
answer, so I'll be glad if you can help.
Will the video cart intel gma x3100, up to 358mb will work well with jaws?
Thanks in advance,

Hello.
I would like to subscribe to some rss feeds on blogs and news sites. Will
someone please point me to a good, accessible RSS reader that will allow me to
receive notifications in my system tray and also allow me to view the text of
the various updates to the feeds? Thanks in advance.
No idea.
My one laptop has an Intel 915gm/gms display adapter, and it mostly works
fine, but I have had one or two minor issues which were mostly sorted out by
making the correct display settings, but this isn't really relevant to the
display adapter, since according to FS, it's merely a set
Hi, there has been discussions recently of News Aloud. I can't remember if
it was this list, but if you go to www.nextup.com you can find out more and
download it and try it out for a limited time, probably 15 days. Hope that
helps.

Hi Folks,
There is a program that comes with Windows, which allows you to connect via
remote connection with any computer on the net. The best part is that it's
free, so no exorbitant costs involved. Well, none, save for buying Windows
XP. Smile.
It's called Remote Access, and it's quite

Hi,
You can set the size of the window by putting your cursor on the OE icon,
bringing up the properties dialogue box with, say, Alt Enter. You should
now be on the ShortCut page. Just tab to the Run combo box and move up or
down to the Maximized part, then tab to Ok and that's it.

No you do not need to remove an older version prior to installing the next

Sharon, I'm coming into this a bit late but maybe what I have to say is

Again, I've already been thinking about something like automatically logging
on to a remote machine, and then starting up either NVDA, or maybe even the
built-in MS narrator thingy on a remote machine.
Only problem is I'm not 100% sure info being sent to a sound card would in
fact be relayed
Ok.
So it might in fact be worth, along these lines, trying out NVDA on the
remote machine as well?
Just need to get my two machines hooked up and will definitely try this out.
Stay well

The only way I can think of is by having your jaws on a cd the way you want
it.
In other words have your jaws to go.
put it on their computer.
Another thing is to have your their computers connected by a remote .
I'm not an expert on that, but just thinking.

As I stated, for the remote access to work, all one needs is for both

I have been giving this some thought as well. Eventually we will be
upgrading to Windows Server 2008. That only runs as a 64 bit operating
system. This kind of gives me the shivers as I don't think any of the
major screen readers work on a 64 bit OS. What I was thinking of was
