If your friend is talking about Classic Start
Menu, then do this:
Go to Start/Control
Panel/Personalization/Taskbar and Start Menu.
Then go to Start Menu page and select Classic
Start Menu and click on OK button. Exit
Control Panel and try pffessing Windows key
and see what happe

Hi, I just downloaded the winamp plugins from jaws-users.com and unzipped
the file but when I went into the winamp preferences, the plugins aren't
listed so I guess they're not installed. How do you install them if I
already unzipped the file? Is there a specific file within that zip file

Well, as an addendum, I went to the applications and found more things.
Also, I tried control tab and that got me to some other things such as a
list of allowed site. However, that list wouldn't open. So, Rick, you have
taken on a big job in sorting out this microsoft windows defender. marily
Odd. I was able to use it with out the use of the jaws curser at all.

Lenny, my windows defender does not appear in the system tray either.
However, it is installed and is running right now because I told it to scan.
As a result, it appears in the system tray as "scan in progress." Now, I
have no idea whether or not it will find anything but I do know that I
