To answer your questions, yes and yes. To look up which day something like
Mothers' Day falls on, use the button labeled Observed Days, and to look up
what day I think you'd use something like the on what date button. I
haven't done much with the latter, but I know it's possible--if I'm wrong,

You have your choice of either a manual or scheduled scan. Even if your
scans are scheduled you can still force a scan at any time. I have Defender
scheduled to do a full scan every morning at 2:00 AM and then check the
history from time to time to see what has been caught.
Take care,
Russ
Hello everyone,
There are a few things I would like to know about the program calendar magic.
For example if I want to know what date Mothers day falls on in May would I be
able to find that out with calendar magic? Also are you able to look up what
day of the week a certain date falls on? Fo
I'm ridding my computer of windows defender because it appears to be a work
in progress and is difficult to deal with. I far prefer the
superantispyware pro that I installed awhile back. You can set it to
manually scan quicktime or full scan or custom scan on any schedule you
like. It is acc

In my opinion it's personal choice. I am the only user of this computer and
as such operate using the administrator account. Now if you are going to
have children or guests use your computer then I suggest you setup other
accounts with more limited permissions.

Hi to all,
I have heard some different opinions on user accounts in XP. As of right now I
am working off my account that is the same as administrator, should I have a
separate account that I work in for everyday computing?
Thanks
Kathy

Hi Rus,
Thank you for answering my question. Does windows defender run on it's own
at a certain time, or can you do a scan manualy? I much prefer to choose
when I scan for spyware.
Take care,
Lisa

You should be good to go with Windows XP Home and the amount of RAM you now
have installed. Yes, Defender is just for spy-ware, ad-ware, etc. It is not
an anti-virus program.
Hope this helps,

windows defender? That is if I can even use it with XP. I would
hi,
go to the start button, then press alt and enter. This will take you into
the task bar and start menu properties. Once in there, press control tab.
Your screen reader will say, "start menu tab", press the down arrow once
until you hear classic start menu. press enter. you will land back on
I had vista on my computer before changing back to XP pro. She can put it on
classic view. Trying to remember where to do it on Vista. I believe you can
go in to control panel under folder options, check classic view.

Did you put in the correct information? Maybe the card expired or no money
