A little program called C Cleaner. Plus check your system files. In the run box. Type sfc /scannow if you have XP. This will scan the dll files. It will prompt you if you need to insert your XP disk. If it does, exit the repair or install, the scannow command will get the dll files it needs

if you use a program called hitman pro, it will install a multitude of programs and use them for you. It is not a good idea to use just one, however, if you wanted to use just one, probably spyware blaster, as it blocks spyware from entering your system in the first place. Avast would be good
