hi Arianna I did that as well downloaded the scripts for version 8 and installed them etc and also installed version 8 of yahoo messenger. I am running jaws 7.0 and had a lot of problems with version 8 of yahoo even with the scripts and doing everything you have dun like un checking everything

Sorry to hear about your problems with VLC I have never had to use the Jaws cursor. I Downloaded my version from the Jaw User program page. I am using Jaws 8 with it and it appears to read all the menus fine. . You could possibly check out the hotkeys available by checking through the Preferences

Hi, you may want to try another DVD to make sure the one you have is not bad or damaged. Since it is stopping in the middle of the disk, it sounds damaged or dirty. Take warm water and hand soap to wash the disk. Dry well and try again. What DVD is it? That being said here are a few options.
