Under XP and IE 7 at least Internet Explorer Favourites are not normally used for storing documents. I cannot comment on Vista. In XP Favourites are normally a set of URL links to locations on the internet that you want to return to frequently. I have not tried to store documents in Favourites

hi chris as an afterthought, the browser history is not saved in the cookies, only passwords and stuff. the browsing history should sit within the temp internet files, if I am not mistaken. but cookies removal disabled will definately keep the program from removing stored pssswords. regards
