I would go with xp on netbooks. The atom processor is especially designed
for netbooks and was optimized at the time to run either xp or linux
software.It may run but again you will meet minimum requirements at best.
So personally I would stick with xp for it and then just upgrade to windows

Bit system to 64 Bit. I think it said that the Windows 7 upgrade advisor or
the actual installation will let you know if your computer can be converted
into 64 Bit. It will then give you the option of upgrading it to 64 B
