Rick, With all due respect, today's cell phones such as the ATC Ozone are definitely Windows based and many carriers now require that you arrange for a data service as well as a cell phone service. As such, may I suggest that you might want to consider expanding your definitions to include

For the record, I'm using a Sound Blaster 5 USB sound card and an HP 550 notebook computer. When I used the e-mail program or sometimes, even document software like word, my Jaws chokes up and doesn't pronounce the complete word or doesn't say anything at all. here's what I have tried so far.

Don, I found something that you might find useful. In the View menu, is a check box for what Live Mail calls the Reading Pane. Just as an experiment, I removed the check box and then went back into reading my messages. Wonder of wonders, everything works much better than it did before.
