Hi Mike,
I'm running Win XP Home and I do not see the notification area
customize dialogue. The only features I have for notification area
are show the clock and hide inactive icons. Can you provide further
directions?
Thanks so much,
Norma

Hi Norma;
That will only work if you're online at all times, and if your own machine
won't be blocked from public access by your provider, your router, etc. etc.

That icon will stay there so long as you have a USB device hooked to your
system, IE an external drive or sound card for an example.

True, but it actually answers the OP's original question, regarding
setting up a website and file transfer access; read the original message
and subject line. Also I have never seen any provider in the U.S. that
does not allow it/blocks it. I can't speak for providers outside of the
U.S.

Hi Patricia;
Yes, this is for XP users. I didn't quite follow your message. Did you
choose the always hide choice for Safely Remove Hardware? Or, did the

I was under the impression that the players, standard and advanced, would be
upgraded with the latest firmware, with the insertion of a book cartridge
from the lending library. Is this correct?? thanks, Don

Jim,
They do. There are a few minor features that don't, but
everything important has a talking menu.
