[Blind-Computing] Updating Adobe Flash Player

Hi All, Is there a way of updating Adobe Flash Player without uninstalling the existing version? Firefox gave me a message this morning that it was suggested I update Adobe Flash Player for the new version. Is my memory correct that the installation of the new version requires sighted
