McAfee before installing MSE?
Any advice would be appreciated as I must do this before Sunday

Yes, it is strongly recommended by Microsoft that you first uninstall your
existing anti-virus program before installing MSE to prevent potentials
conflicts.

I would install the first program before installing MSE, if not, at least
disable it but if you are not going to use it and instead use MSE just
uninstall it...

HI Pete,
What I would do is, download MSSE but do not install / run it, this way MSSE
will be ready to install after uninstalling McAfee. To uninstall McAfee,
make sure it is turned off / exited. Whaat you can do is go into, msconfig,
control + tab to start-up, uncheck the McAfee box
I just removed AVG 9 from my xp machine. I did that first, then installed
MSE for xp, all went without a hitch.

I will send a message, and the recipient receives it with blank lines in

Hi Michael,
First of all, we need to be clear on what modem we are talking about.
Is it an Ethernet or dial-up modem?
Let us know.

Hi Michael,
First, if you are having some connectivity issues, make sure that all cables
are plugged in properly.
You didn't give a specific problem, so here are some general steps.
There are 2 things you can do here.

Hardware
I also have the same problem and have tried on numerous occasions to make it
go away to no avail so have just ignored it thus far.
