Hello David;
Well, I dug this up from the web site archives,
I recall sending this in quite some time ago,
I just thought it was worth reposting just in case some members wish to have
such an icon.

I carry my laptop to and from work every day. Probably 90% of the time I am
plugged in and using a full-sized keyboard. When on the road, however, I use a
much different technique. Here are some thoughts for those using Windows 7 and
who want to manage power effectively and extend battery
My bad as it slipped my mind that it was a repost. Either way you look at it
this is good information to have.

Is there some easy way to get to the multimedia area to hear the

Thanks for any assistance.

I have ran every scan I could think of and they came up with nothing.

Niam,
One thing that may help you with Windows Live Mail is did you turn off
conversations and turn on Ribbons in Jaws? Until I did these two things, I
absolutely hated WLM and fought it all the way. Turning off conversations
makes your mail look so much like OutLook Express and using Ribbons
Hi Greg,
Just so I have it quite clear in my head,it is turn on ribbons permanently

Thanks so much.

Hi Donnie and list,
You can get thunderbird scripts from:
http://EmpowermentZone.com/tb_scr30.zip
To make sure you are using the latest update, Install them and while in
thunderbird, press f11 key. The scripts will check, and if there is any update,
you'll be prompted to download and install
Hi niam and everyone,
I've been using thunderbird for more than 2 years and i love it so much.
With the scripts written by Jamal Masrui, it just works like a charm. I
used thunderbird 3.0.4 for a long time because i heard that there were
some accessibility probllems in the latest versions.
I'm using TB with only what JAWS brings to it without much trouble,
except where searching is concerned.
I'm not good with the searches.

I guess that is entirely up to you. However, Ribbons are here in several

It made more sense to me to just learn to live with them, turn them on for
