On my pc I have i tunes for my i phone. I tried tocopy a mp3 file from my c
drive to i tunes. First fro some reason it became a read only file and i could
do nothing with it. I do not know where it is actually located to try and
delete or change the properities. I did find it in a add something

Alternatively, now in windows7, I just typed scan in the search box of the
start menu, and there's something called windows fax and scan,

Personally, If I were going to scan a document and did not want optical
character recognition, I would use the Windows Paint Program. There is a
feature in this program to import images directly from the scanner.
To get to the paint program, first press the windows key, next

How though, would I get the image on the screen in order to capture the screen
shot.

If you just want to capture a screenshot of the screen, I think you can
still do something like alt + printScreen key - generally, on a standard
keyboard the print screen key like the left hand one of the 3 keys to the
right of the F12 key - and that will capture a screen shot to the clipboard,
