Hi Mujtaba,
Thank you very much for your reply & information. I did select the yes
option but, for whatever reason I thought this V-Card option had something
to do with business cards & I don't have that activated on that computer &
was wondering why I was getting that dialogue. Thanks again.
When you are in the column and cell with the longest entry you want to
adjust hit alt+h and then O and down arrow to "autofit column width" and hit
enter. That should do it.

Greg

You should hit the yes button when prompted with the dialog box. The
contacts in your outlook express are all I think vcf file format. When you
attempt to open a file with that extension windows searches for an
associated program for that file.
Nothing to be alarmed about this prompt.

Here you go:
1. Control + Space to select the full column when in focus.
2. Alt key to go to the home tab of the ribbon.
3. Down arrow to cells submenu.
4. Right arrow to open the submenu and use the down arrow to go to the
option Format button dropdown.
5. Spacebar to open the Format menu, and h

Hi all,
Do you know how to make an entire column of an Excel sheet the width of the
longest entry?
I'm using Excel 2007 with Jaws 14.
Thanks,

Hi
It depends on a couple of things. I am guessing that since you
mentioned a zip file, You will need to down load the zip file to the
computer and open it on your computer.
On the other hand, maybe they wanted to share an entire folder with
you. If you have drop box installed on your c
Good evening,
Wondered if anyone might be able to give me some advice please. Someone has
uploaded files into drop box on their computer for me, and sent me a link, to
drop box, not to the specific files. I've found and clicked on a download
link, and selected .zip, but can't go any further an
Hi All,
1 or 2 weeks ago someone asked about navigating pages in Adobe. This is
what I found using Adobe XI, Jaws 13, & XP Pro:
Control + Page down, = next page
Control + page up, = prior or go back a page.
Take care.

Yes, thanks much, I have really looked over my settings. I believe it is
just one of those things that happen in computers and then one day it is
gone.

Yes, jaws says the name of the icon plus internet short cut. It is not
something I can't live with but I perfer not to hear jaws say internet
short cut after reading the name of every icon I press. It just started
this and doesn't say it on my other computer.

Thank you very much for these instructions. I am grateful.
It's a funny thing, what stumps some people. I've been using JAWS almost
exclusively for almost 20 years, and this was always something that eluded
me. I, of course, just found ways around it.
Again, thank you very much.
Kind regards,

Hi Tom,
I'm assuming that he is pressing enter on a desktop icon as well but, since
I misunderstood his question before, I just want to understand it correctly.

Yes, you are right. Jaws just started this recently and I have looked all
over and I can't find how to turn this off. I have another computer and it
is not doing it. It has to be some simple setting so maybe I'll find it.
