When you are in the column and cell with the longest entry you want to
adjust hit alt+h and then O and down arrow to "autofit column width" and hit
enter. That should do it.

In the list of accounts go to the account you want to set as default. When
it is highlighted hit the application key. Down arrow until you see set as

I do this
routinely whenever that prompt pops up so I don't think that caused this
event.
I am using Windows 7 home premium 64 bit with Jaws 13.0.1006. Any ideas
what could have caused this to happen and how I can cancel the download?
It's downloading about 1gb worth of old emails.

I am using a canon MX 430 series all in one printer. As Rick said the setup
required sighted assistance but once it was set up I have had no problems.
I can print from computers all over the house. It's fine for personal use.
Not sure if it would work for a small office though.
