Do the following to get taskbar:
1. Press alt+M to reach desktop.
2. Press tab twice, then you will here [Taskbar button].
3. You can navigate on the taskbar by left and right arrow.
4. For activating the desire item just press the spacebar or enter.

The task bar at the bottom of my screen I am told is larger than usual.
