Hi Michael, Look for horizons I think it is. You might get a good price such as president day sale. I've learned where a few of the buttons are under the plastic. If you can get someone sighted to help I bet you could mark them Mine has 30 year warranty on the motor windings. It goes from flat to

Dale, Sorry; we had the local utility company's repair people come out twice now. It's not our furnace; apparently, it's the blower or booster that we had hooked up to it. Maybe, it's gone bad because it just kept turning itself on and off, on and off, never staying on completely. It drove us s

[BlindHandyMan] Dryer Question!

2009-02-11 Thread Claudia
Hi All, So, it seems that I've had lots of questions lately. When I turn my dryer on, I hear a muffled thumping sound, like the drum inside is having a difficult time turning. When I first heard it, I opened the dryer back up, made sure there was nothing caught between the edges of the drum;

All, I ended up ordering one of these myself yesterday on Monday, and I can't wait to get it! I think I should have ordered two, but maybe, I'm getting ahead of myself. If they're anything like the Zenstones, I know I'll lov them. I have a one=gig model as well as a two-gig. My lovely son has

Claudia, Could be a few different things, but I am guessing some of the rollers that support the drum are shot. These can be replaced so the dryer isn't a lost cause. However, they can be a bear to replace on some dryers. -- Blue skies. Dan Rossi Carnegie Mellon University. E-Mail: d...@andr

I have a 2 year old who really wants to add back up noises to his remote controlled dump truck. I was thinking, as an electronics engineer, that I could tap into the power from the batteries and add some kind of circuit to make a little beep beep while in reverse. Then I thought there is proba

David, On the assumption, which you should test, that they reverse the polarity of D.C. to the drive motor, a diode and a piezo beeper from radio shack should do the trick. If they are using something other than a simple D.C. motor, then it gets more hairy. Tom Fowle

As Tom said, Radio Shack should be able to provide you what you need. I take probe testers for 12 volt DC and cut the ground line. In the line I take a kit box and solder together a 3 to 28 volt buzzer. One I bought actually beeped as power was applied. It would work great. If you know wher

Some of the radio shack beepers have a built in pulser to make it go beep, beep, beep. You just connect the power to a different pin to make it pulse. Regards. Max. K 4 O D S. Email: m...@maxsmusicplace.com Transistor site http://www.funwithtransistors.net Vacuum tube site: http://www.funwit
