Than I would either clean the shower head with a good cleaner to remove
mineral deposits or buy that new head.

Usually the shower head either has a knob on the side one can turn to adjust
the head or the head itself will turn for the same purpose.

Install GFCI's. Or run new wire with a ground 14-2 or 12-2.

Have him use a cheap tester and touch the positive side of the receptacle and
the box with the prongs, if it lights up, you have a grounded box. If so, it is
a snap to fasten a pig tail to the box and than to the new receptacle. There
are other ways to get around this problem, but none of them a

I'm sure R.J. will have more details, but if you open an outlet box, with
the power off of course, and check the wiring looking for a bare ground wire.
if you find it, you're in luck. If all you see is seperate black and white
wires with no third bare ground, then you'd have to run bare grounds a
Hi,
My brother's house has electric outlets through out his house with only two
wholes. No ground on any plug. What is involved to put all new three whole
plugs in with the ground?
Surely it is not as simple as just replacing the old two whole plugs with
the new three whole plugs, right?

sounds like you want to buy a new shower head.
Those big ones are sometimes called "waterfall" and may have a button to
convert to standard water pattern. Check it out and maybe save money.

I'm not familiar with the battery's "CCA" units, but assuming it's similar to

However! automobile batteries are not designed to be run down at relatively

What I am saying, made sure it is the shower head before buying something you
don't need. There is a possibility that the shower head may be your problem,
but who knows, if you don't check the water flow after removing the head.

Take the shower head off and clean it. Make sure it is the shower head by
turning on the water after the head is off. Also check and see if there is a
setting on the control that may have been turned to slow down the flow.

If when you turn the shower on and the water keeps coming out of the spout
you need what's called a new diverter. To replace that you need to remove the
spout and replace same. If water isn't coming out of the spout when you turn
the shower on you simply need to clean the shower head like someone
Thanks. Mine seems to be well attached, except for one small spot behind

Julio,
Your shower head is probably scaling up. Mineral deposits form in the holes
which restricts water flow.
Soaking the head in a mild acid like vinegar or a commercial product like CLR
should solve the problem.
You may be able to tie a plastic sandwich bag full of it over the head so long
