Just keep some rubbing alcohol handy for clean up. That will take any epoxy off your skin if you catch it before it dries. I built golf clubs with epoxy for years so it isn't all that dangerous to your skin. Just keep in mind what Dale told you and you'll be fine. the project may be another

Well if he is reusing the burner assembly as in it being gas he will likely lhave problems since the thermostat control goes into the side of the tank at the bottom. If he is going to do it strickly manual and hand light the burner it should work as long as he plugs the inlet and outlet holes
