Hi all, Well, I finally have pieces of nylon in the sizes I need for my project. What I need to do next is glue some of the pieces together. As it turns out, there are very, very few glues that can bond nylong. After extensive research on the Internet, I found a product called Surehold Plasti

My technician, who can manage to glue almost anything, says he's never found anything that works with nylon. Depending on the strength you need, it might be possible to drill and tap it then use machine screws, but I don't think you'll get a very sturdy result. I'll ask my tech again wednesday if

super glue is temperary on nylon; got a eally good fit, on thoroughly cleaned cane tip; got a good hold too. Next day, before it was restrung to the cane, just picking it up caused it to fall apart. Locked shop, over night, clueless to explain. How about the glues for pvc or pecs pipe? On M

the pvc glue isn't really a glue, it's a specific solvent for PVC and won't touch much else I'd bet same for pex. I think Ed has him self backed into a corner. Tom
